A Vegan Delight at Mykonos Kitchen & Bar

As a vegan, I’m always on the lookout for restaurants that not only accommodate plant-based diets but also make the experience flavorful and exciting. Recently, I visited Mykonos Kitchen & Bar in Sunny Isles Beach, and I’m thrilled to share that this Greek gem goes above and beyond in offering delicious options for vegans.

The first thing that caught my attention was the freshness of the ingredients. Their classic Greek Salad (veganized without feta) was crisp, refreshing, and beautifully seasoned with olive oil and oregano. The Olives & Dips Station was a highlight—creamy hummus, velvety baba ghanoush, and bright, zesty tzatziki made with dairy-free yogurt upon request.

For mains, I indulged in the Vegetarian Soup of the Day, which was warm, hearty, and absolutely comforting. The Stuffed Dolmades (grape leaves) were another standout—perfectly seasoned rice wrapped in tender grape leaves with just the right amount of lemony zest. And let’s not forget the Spanakopita (vegan version)—crispy, flaky, and filled with flavorful spinach and herbs.

The atmosphere itself is just as inviting as the food. With its waterfront views, live music, and warm Greek hospitality, Mykonos Kitchen & Bar creates an experience that feels like a mini escape to the Mediterranean.

While not an exclusively vegan restaurant, the staff was incredibly accommodating and happy to make adjustments to ensure my meal was plant-based and satisfying. It’s refreshing to find a place where vegan dining doesn’t feel like an afterthought but rather an opportunity to highlight the natural flavors of fresh, wholesome ingredients.

If you’re vegan (or just love healthy, plant-forward Mediterranean cuisine), Mykonos Kitchen & Bar is definitely worth a visit. The food is vibrant, nourishing, and packed with authentic Greek flavors—proof that vegan dining can be both indulgent and true to tradition.
